A YORKSHIRE charity wanting to bus inner-city families into the countryside is hosting a concert to help raise £3,000.
The Yorkshire Dales Society will use the money so it can operate its Family Experience buses this summer.
The gig will be at Korks in Otley from 7.30pm on Saturday. Tickets will be available on the door.
Dales & Bowland Community Interest Company, a social enterprise owned by The Yorkshire Dales Society, has teamed up with community groups across Bradford and Keighley to give less well-off families in those areas a rural treat but lack of government funding is hampering getting the project on the road.
The Community Interest Company would run the low-fare family buses on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It would also organise free family walks, visits and events.
