THE FORMER frontman of 70s glam rockers Mott the Hoople will headline Bingley Arts Centre in June.
Ian Hunter and his Rant Band will perform a set of songs combining his acclaimed solo output with Mott classics, on Sunday, June 18.
The gig is the latest from promoters BAC2LIve.
Spokesman Steve Waite said Hunter was widely revered as one of rock ‘n’ roll’s most compelling performers as well as being an accomplished songwriter.
He said: “As author of such immortal anthems as All The Way From Memphis, Once Bitten, Twice Shy and Cleveland Rocks and the voice of such landmarks as All The Young Dudes, he remains a hero to fellow musicians and fans around the world.”
