PUPILS from Titus Salt School in Baildon took the top two spots in a district-wide climbing competition.
The school came in first and second when it took part in the Bradford Schools Climbing Competition at Appleton Academy.
Team Denys and Team Titus, made up of Year 7 and Year 8 students, had a day full of climbing.
The competition combined speed climbing, where groups of three had to see how many times they could climb a particular route in ten minutes, and scored climbing, where teams are awarded points based on how “cleanly” they could complete specific climbs.
A school spokesman said: “It was a whole team effort which was great to see.”
