A WORTH Valley-based artist is holding an exhibition in the gallery space above Haworth Visitor Information Centre.

The artwork is being displayed by Rosie Clarke, who lives in Cross Roads.

A spokesman for the event said: "The exhibition is named 'From the Book' and includes examples of painting and collage.

"The artwork is on display from February 13 to February 26 between 10am and 5pm.

"On Saturday February 18 there will be a viewing with the artist present and free drinks.

"Rosie started at Leeds College of Art, then carried on to do a BA in fine art painting at Wimbledon College of Art, which is part of University of the Arts, London.

"Her work consists of painting, collage, video, installation, performance and illustration.

"Collage is fundamental to her methods. The different collage elements are collected over a long period of time, holding sentimental value and creating a peculiar romanticism."
