BINGLEY Music Live has scooped a regional award.
The event was named Outstanding Established Festival at the Yorkshire Gig Guide Grassroots Awards, which recognises the best in regional music venues and events.
The event is organised by Bradford Council and held at Myrtle Park, Bingley.
Acts this year included Echo and the Bunnymen, the Lightning Seeds (pictured), Travis, Tinie Tempah, Sigma, All Saints, Black Grape and Peter Hook & the Light.
Councillor Sarah Ferriby, Bradford Council’s executive member for culture, said: “We work hard every year to deliver an event which celebrates the best in new and established acts, as well as giving a platform to new up and coming acts from the region.
“ We also aim to make it a family event with something to appeal to all ages.
“So it is fantastic to be recognised in this way by an organisation that celebrates the best of Yorkshire.”
