TWO beers brewed in the Bradford district have been named in the top 20 beers of the year at the Great British Beer Festival in London.
Boltmaker, by Keighley-based Timothy Taylor and Triple Chocoholic by Saltaire Brewery, are both finalists in CAMRA's Champion Beer of Britain competition.
Boltmaker is competing in the bitters category, while Saltaire's brew is in the speciality class.
The competition takes place at historic Olympia in London for the rest of this week, with the winners announced at the Champion Beer of Britain dinner at the Hilton Hotel, Olympia.
National CAMRA, Nik Antona, said: “The Champion Beer of Britain award is one of the most coveted accolades for brewers in the UK.
"We wanted to make sure that all the finalists were properly praised.
“We’re really looking forward to giving brewers a chance to celebrate the category winners and the supreme champion at a fantastic dinner.
“The competition also gives us the opportunity to celebrate all the finalists and the category winners properly at the festival itself, and we encourage visitors to try some of the best beers in the country, not just the supreme champion.”
