Trains will run as normal from 6am tomorrow, but passengers have been warned of further cancelled train services today between Bradford Forster Square and Ilkley because of a landslip at Baildon caused by flash flooding.

The delays are still expected to last all day today, according to Northern Rail, after yesterday’s disruption due to heavy rain.

A Northern Rail spokesman said: "We are working closely with our colleagues at Network Rail to keep the disruption down to a minimum and return services to normal as soon as we can."

And Network Rail has confirmed that engineers successfully rebuilt the track today using 60 tonnes of ballast, enabling services to resume in the morning. Meantime, replacement buses will run between Shipley and Guiseley calling at Baildon until further notice.

Customers wanting to travel to Ilkley from Bradford Forster Square are advised to travel by train to Shipley where a bus will take them on to Guiseley to connect with forward train services.
