EVENT Angels, programme sellers and recyclers are just some of the helpers wanted at Bingley Music Live next month in return for free tickets and fantastic music.

Volunteers will get free entry for the whole weekend festival, a free festival programme, and food and drink while on shift.

And there are a number of volunteering roles available at the three-day festival which takes place in Myrtle Park on September 4, 5 and 6.

People can work with the Gate Team, be Event Angels, Programme Sellers, or be part of the Green Team recycling litter or be a PR runner helping the festival to run smoothly.

Diana Greenwood, from Bradford Council who is co-ordinating the volunteering team, said: "Our festival volunteers play a big part in creating a great atmosphere and help festival goers have a fantastic time!

"Volunteering at Bingley Music Live is a fun and rewarding experience, a great way to meet new people and to see what it takes to make a music festival happen.

"Every year our volunteers have an amazing time, and many come back to volunteer with us the following year. "Also, volunteering looks great on your CV for potential employers.

"So if you want to gain experience and have an interest in music, festivals and events management or just want the opportunity to work with a team of fun, like-minded people then we want to hear from you!"

All volunteers must be over 16 on 3rd September and will need to be available for the full three days. Hours worked are dependant on the role but all are given regular breaks so they can also enjoy the festival.
