A man has been charged after the crash in Bingley
A MOTORIST who crashed a car into a wall in Bingley while being followed by police early today has been charged with driving offences.
Police said the man had failed to stop for officers before the crash in Bradford Road, Cottingley, at about 3.40am.
The motorist - a 28-year-old Preston man, passed a breath-test while in custody but he was subsequently charged with failing to stop when directed by an officer and driving without due care and attention.
He is scheduled to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court on June 5.
