Motorcyclist, 50, airlifted to hospital after Shipley collision
A 50-year-old man has been airlifted to hospital with suspected head injuries after his silver Yamaha motorcycle was in collision with a parked white Volkwagon car in Kirkgate, Shipley.
Police had to close the road and divert traffic down Commerical Street while emergency services dealt with the incident which happened at 12.55pm today, opposite Market Square.
The injured man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary. A police spokesman said his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
