A GUN disguised as a walking cane was among 137 firearms handed into North Yorkshire Police during an amnesty.
The weapons, handed in between November 1 and 16, also included 52 shotguns, 33 air weapons and seven rifles.
Also given in were 628 rounds of ammunition and 417 shotgun cartridges.
Dave Coutts, head of firearms and explosives licensing at North Yorkshire Police, said: “We are very pleased with the response.”
