A CANNABIS farm worth more than £500,000 has been found in Shipley.
Officers raided an industrial premises on Saturday morning where they found the “very large cannabis farm” after they were given a tip-off last week.
A police spokesman said: “In excess of 1,700 plants were seized and the farm dismantled. The value of these plants is expected to be in excess of £500,000 which will be confirmed by forensic examinations.”
During the raid, at Ashley Lane, Shipley, three men were arrested.
The spokesman added: “Two of the three men have been charged with cannabis production and were appearing before Bradford District Magistrates Court for a remand application this morning. The third male has been reported for summons for similar offences and will appear before the court on a date yet to fix.
“This shows the value of Community Intelligence which can be submitted via 101, Crimestoppers or to one of your local officers.”
