AN OPEN day is being held for care professionals across Airedale and Craven.
The event has been organised by Carers’ Resource to showcase its support services.
Director Anne Smyth (pictured) said: “Someone who is in a caring role may not realise they are a carer and once it does hit them they can be at a loss as to where to get help and what kind of support is available.”
“The closer we can work with professionals and health staff and highlight what we do and how we can help, the more chance there is that carers can be identified sooner.”
The open day is at the charity’s premisses in Park View Court, Shipley, from 10.30am to 2.30pm on Friday.
