CORRIDORS on three floors of sheltered housing flats for the elderly were smoke logged by an electrical fault.
Fire crews from Rawdon were called to the incident, at Lady Fox Court, Yeadon, at 7.30am on Saturday.
A fire service spokesman said they opened doors and windows to get rid of the smoke and spent an hour at the premises ensuring everything was safe. The residents all stayed in their flats and were unaffected by the smoke.
