IT MAY be more familiar on the big screen, but a stage version of Grease is coming to Yeadon Town Hall later this month.
Students from the award winning school of performing arts in Bradford, Stage 84, will form the cast of more than 70, ranging in age from 11 to over 20.
Most are pupils but there will be cameo appearances from three former pupils who have agreed to return in the role of ‘Teen Angel’, singing one of the show’s songs, Beauty School Drop-out.
The production marks the 30th anniversary year for Stage 84.
It is directed by Craig Winward, who has a long history of working on Stage 84 productions and choreography is by Rebecca Cook and Sophie Gilbertson. Musical director is Jim Lunt.
The show runs from Wednesday, November 19 until Saturday, starting at 7.30 pm, with a 2.30 pm matinee show on the final day.
