A "MEMORABLE" production of a musical comedy was staged by year five and six children from Sutton Community Primary School.
The youngsters put on writer Craig Hawes' "Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits" at South Craven School's Fells Theatre.
The show is billed as a treasure-trove of fun and laughter, taking audiences on a "thrilling carpet ride with Ali Baba and his crazy camel".
A spokesman for Sutton CP School said: "Supported by their friends and families in the audience, our young cast acted, sang and danced like professionals.
"Several of the audience were heard to comment that it was difficult to believe that they were ‘just children’. We clearly have some talented stars of the future in our midst!
"Special thanks go to teachers Claire Dunkley and Simone Dean for producing the show, pupils' families for providing such great costumes and helping with learning of scripts and to Peter Howarth at South Craven for the technical support.
"The production was truly memorable and really poignant for those watching in the audience – most especially the families of year six pupils who are now preparing to leave us."
