A KEIGHLEY man's planned 500-mile charity cycle ride is being postponed till the autumn.
John Hanson, 60, had been due to cycle from Madrid to Barcelona with his two sons and two friends for Age UK Bradford & District, starting on July 12.
He said the cycle ride would still be going ahead, but has had to be put back until September due to a family hospital operation.

In 1997 Mr Hanson, who lives off Fell Lane, cycled 1,200 miles from Keighley to Sarajevo, in Bosnia, to raise cash for the Sarajevo Fire Service.
For his Spain challenge he will use the same bike he rode on 25 years ago.
He used to be a firefighter and now works as the over 50s co-ordinator for Age UK in Keighley.
