Group off to flying start
A Manorlands support group has raised more than £5,000 in its first year of operation.
The Wharfedale group's biggest single event was a concert at Grassington, which raised £2,458.
Sharon Link, pictured, fundraiser at the Oxenhope Sue Ryder Care hospice, said: "I would like to thank Wharfedale Support Group for all its hard work and commitment.
"We have a number of support groups fundraising for us and between them they have raised an amazing £68,000 this last year. We can't thank them all enough."
