Playgroup is given top grade
A new playgroup in Ilkley has received an outstanding grading in a recent Ofsted report.
Eleanor Eddison, of Spicey Gill Pre-School, based at the Baptist Hall on King's Road, said: "We opened in September 2007 and now have 30 children on our register.
"A few weeks ago we had a surprise two-day visit from Ofsted.
"We were absolutely delighted with our inspection report which has graded us as outstanding in every single aspect of the care and education that we provide.
"We are very proud of this and want to tell everyone the good news.
"According to the latest Ofsted figures only two per cent of settings like ours achieved an outstanding grading."
