A host of food stalls have sprung up in Bradford’s City Park for the World Curry Festival , which was getting under way today.
The event, which will run until Sunday, includes cookery demonstrations featuring chefs from local Indian restaurants and those from further afield.
Students at Bradford College have volunteered as stewards at the event.
College catering students and staff will also work alongside celebrity chefs at the festival and Colin Burt, trainer assessor, was set to open the Curry Theatre with a curry ‘cook off’ at 11.30am today.
