Our keynote speaker on the night is David Chabeaux.

David was born into a family with a rich musical and performance heritage. His Grandfather was one of the most celebrated band leaders of his day and his Dad a world-class drummer. This led to David having an early career as an award winning singer and performer appearing all over the world, highlights being solo performances at The Royal Albert Hall and Buckingham Palace.

While performing at a gig in 1996, David’s musical approach to delivering world-class results was spotted by the CEO of DHL International, who decided he wanted to bring David’s mindset and skills into the business. The CEO’s gamble paid off when David became DHL’s number one global sales performer in under a year.

Over the following nine years, David held leadership roles within DHL, Unilever and Fedex but it was in 2005, when he was asked to become a Director at the influential consulting firm of the global change guru Dr Stephen R Covey (author of The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective People), that his influence really grew. Learning directly from Dr Covey, he got to design, develop and deliver leadership and change solutions in partnership with some of the world’s most innovative companies (Disney, Pixar, Apple, Ideo, Warner Bros, The Arts Council, Nike,) inspiring cultures (IRC Third World Water, Unicef, Oxfam, WSPA,) and dynamic leaders (Muhammad Yunus, Richard Branson, Sir Ken Robinson, Jim Collins, Ram Sharan, Fred Reichheld.) And in 2009, after leading change with all of these diverse organisations, cultures and leaders for four years, David made a fascinating discovery.

He noticed that the individuals, teams and businesses who were truly able to sustain world-class results, regardless of Industry or sector, shared a certain thing in common. They all had remarkably similar approaches to delivering consistently great results as those used by the world class musicians, performers and orchestras he had watched and studied as a kid and performed with throughout his music career.

This discovery led David to create what is now the Internationally recognised change philosophy. The Organisational Orchestra.

The Organisational Orchestra methodology has gone on to help thousands of people, teams, organisations and communities around the world to improve results and to more effectively deal with, and sustain, real change.

He's sure to provide some fascinating insights into his varied career.
