  • Robert Dopson, 31, of Trent Road, Didcot, admitted driving while disqualified and without insurance in Trent Road on March 3. Given eight-weeks prison suspended for 12 weeks with 120-hour unpaid work requirement. Told to pay victims’ surcharge of £80 and £85 costs. Given a six-month driving ban.
  • Alan Edgington, 25, of Mill Paddock, Abingdon, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Abingdon on February 17. Fined £75 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.
  • Lewis Grant, 20, of North Drive, Harwell, Didcot, admitted causing criminal damage to a glass panel from a sliding door at Oxford Railway Station on March 2 and committing a further offence during the period of a suspended sentence imposed on September 24 for threatening behaviour. Fined £80 and told to pay £600 compensation, £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Olivia Ross, 24, of Lucy Faithfull House, Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted stealing a Samsung mobile phone worth £150 and a wallet in George Street, Oxford, on December 30. Given an 18-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge.
  • Joanne Webb, 36, of Dashwood Road, Oxford, admitted stealing electrical items and clothing worth £110.93 from Toys R Us in Botley Road, Oxford, and assorted food and drink worth £41.94 from Aldi in Botley Road, Oxford, on February 17. Also admitted stealing three boxes of perfume worth £160.50 from Debenhams in Oxford on January 30, and two further bottles of perfume from Boots on Cornmarket Street, Oxford, on March 1. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and nine-month supervision requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge. Four other offences taken into consideration.
  • Charlotte Barton, 25, of Bonar Road, Wood Farm, Oxford, admitted stealing a selection of electrical cords, a solar panel, DVD player, DVD and a satnav from a car in Drove Acre Road, Oxford, on February 14. Also admitted a burglary and stealing a bottle of champagne worth £50 between February 14 and February 17 in Hardings Close, Oxford. Community order made with six-month drug rehabilitation requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge and £40 costs.
  • Anthony Hodson, 24, of Wynbush Road, Rosehill, Oxford, admitted possessing three wraps of heroin, a Class A drug, in Spencer Crescent, Oxford, on February 28, and cannabis, a Class B drug, in Dashwood Road, Oxford, on February 17. Also admitted stealing a purse in Courtland Road, Oxford, on February 6. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Ionut-Mirel Nasturas, 25, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a security guard by beating in Sainsbury’s, Heyford Hill, Littlemore, Oxford, on March 16, and stealing money from an ATM at Sainbury’s in Heyford Hill, Littlemore, Oxford, on March 15 and March 16. Given four-month prison sentence.
  • Nicholas Black, 31, of Great Clarendon Street, Oxford, admitted possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, on January 29 in Oxford. Fined £60 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20.
  • Ross Harvey, 22, of Hazel Crescent, Kidlington, Oxford, admitted driving without insurance and a licence and possessing cannabis, a Class B drug, in Oxford Road, Littlemore, on January 11. Also admitted breaching a community order made on October 12. Community order made with seven day programme requirement and supervision requirement. Told to pay £60 victims’ surcharge.
  • Mark Langston, 51, of no fixed address, admitted possessing a knife blade in a public place in St Clements Street, Oxford, on March 18. Given a 20-week prison sentence.
  • Paul Lacy, 22, of Rawthey Avenue, Didcot, convicted of speeding on the A417, Rowstock, on October 6. Fined £400 and told to pay £40 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four points on driving licence.
  • Joseph Smyth, 25, of Pebble Hill, Radley, admitted urinating in public in Abingdon on September 16. Fined £60 and told to pay £20 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.
  • Igor Andrejeu, of Banbury Road, Oxford, failed to give information on the identity of a driver in Abingdon between January 19 and February 7. Fined £110 and told to pay victims’ surcharge of £20 and £100 costs.
