THE Conservatives have unveiled the candidate they hope will give Labour's Judith Cummins a run for her money in Bradford South.

Tanya Graham, who lost to Mrs Cummins in 2015, has been reselected for the seat, the party has revealed.

Bradford South is a Labour stronghold but the Tories have been buoyed by a landslide victory in this month's Queensbury by-election and as a result local Conservatives have called for the party to make the constituency a target seat for the General Election.

Mrs Graham said: "I look forward to meeting up with residents and businesses again on the doorstep, to delivering on Brexit and to standing up for the area and the people of Bradford South. I want to make a real difference, securing investment, delivering on jobs, improving education and challenging the Labour-controlled council."
