THE Telegraph & Argus’ Stop the Danger Drivers campaign is set to be discussed at a meeting of the full Bradford Council tomorrow.
The Council’s Conservative group has put forward a motion calling on the authority to formally back the campaign.
The motion, put forward by former Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Dale Smith says: “Council notes the Telegraph & Argus campaign for safer, more responsible driving across the district.
“Council resolves to endorse the T&A in its campaign and to support West Yorkshire Police in their vigorous implementation of the law.”
The motion will go to the vote at the meeting, which begins at 4pm in the council chamber at City Hall. Councillors from many parties have already pledged their support for the campaign.
