A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of the attempted murder of two men who were shot in Bradford.
The youth, who cannot be named for legal reasons, made his first appearance at Bradford Crown Court today.
He entered not guilty pleas to the attempted murder of Rohid Ali and Zaka Ur-Rehman, and a charge of the possession of a firearm with an intent to endanger life.
He is accused of carrying out the shooting in Heaton Road in Manningham at about 10.30pm on Tuesday, August 15. It led to police carrying out a detailed search of the scene.
The court heard that two men had been injured. One suffered “very serious” head injuries.
The incident was said to have involved a shotgun being fired from a car.
The Recorder of Bradford, Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC, adjourned the case until Monday, September 25, when the defendant is due to return to the same court to make an application for bail.
