A BRADFORD man who admitted burgling the Co-op store in Oxenhope has been jailed for 27 months.
Wayne Pogson, 33, of Grayswood Crescent, Holme Wood, admitted the offence prior to a scheduled trial at Bradford Crown Court.
The burglary took place at the store in Station Road in the early hours of July 6 last year.
Police attended the scene and found that the shutters at the shop had been damaged and items including tobacco were missing.
The damage caused to the shop meant it was forced to open late that morning.
Two suspect vehicles, including one stolen from Oxenhope, were later located in Hebden Bridge.
A further charge of theft of a motor vehicle faced by Pogson, in connection with a Ford Focus stolen from David Eastham, was allowed to lie on file.
