A 25-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested in connection with an incident in which shots were fired in a quiet residential street.
Gunshots were reported in Milner Road, Baildon, at around 11.35pm on Monday, and although no-one was injured, a white Nissan van was damaged.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire said today that the man had been released on bail, with enquiries continuing.
Officers are still appealing for witnesses who may have seen a red or burgundy 4x4 style vehicle in the Milner Road area on the night of the incident, which was believed to have then been involved in a crash with a Vauxhall Astra in Dockfield Road, Shipley, a short time later. The people in the Astra attended hospital for treatment, but were later released.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team on 101, quoting log number 1798 of February 6.
