The British Heart Foundation is appealing for schools to support the Beating Hearts in Bradford Appeal by having some fun and holding a Santa run.
The appeal is raising £105,000 to buy a new 3D echocardiograph machine for Bradford Royal Infirmary.
Appeal manager Sue Green, who has 200 Santa suits available, said: “There is obviously a cost to the BHF for the suits. We would therefore suggest a sponsored event where participants would be looking to raise between £10 and £20 each.
“We are totally committed to beating heart disease, but the BHF is a charity and we urgently need people to continue donating time and money.
“I hope that people will consider this idea and contact me on (01274) 548324 or e-mail me at greens@bhf.org.uk.”
