The students hand over the cheque
Students at the University of Bradford are gearing up to support the Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
Team Bradford, the banner under which all sports teams and societies at the university compete and meet, has nominated the appeal as its RAG (Raise and Give Week) charity in 2014.
The appeal raises funds for a cutting-edge machine, the spectrometer, enabling the university to further its work in cancer treatment.
The Telegraph & Argus has teamed up with the university, Yorkshire Cancer Research and principal supporter the Sovereign Health Care Charitable Trust to work towards funding the high-tech equipment.
