Medical centres are backing the Telegraph & Argus Bradford Crocus Cancer Appeal.
The Avicenna Medical Practice in Barkerend, Bradford, is helping the appeal to raise £1 million to enable the ICT (Institute of Cancer Therapeutics) to buy vital equipment in its work to pioneer new cancer treatments, through collection tin donations and sales of Crocus badges.
Practice manager Sarah Rhodes said: “We decided to get on board because it is a really good cause.”
Other medical practices throughout the city and district who are supporting the appeal include: Bilton Medical Centre; Farfield Group Practice; Dr Longfield & Partner; Addingham Medical Centre; Sunnybank Medical Centre; Moorside Surgery; Grange Medical Centre; Low Moor Medical Centre and The Ridge Medical Practice.
It is hoped more medical centres and organisations will now be inspired to support the cause. If you would like to support the appeal, e-mail d.taj@bradford.ac.uk or call (01274) 233166.
