A NUMBER of events will be held at Bradford College’s Northern Dental Education Centre (NORDEC) for National Smile Month.
They will run on May 21 and 22 and will include outreach and activity sessions and school taster sessions.
The sessions, for both primary and secondary pupils, will be aimed at educating and raising awareness of oral health in an interactive way.
Community centres, as well as centres which help refugees and asylum seekers will also be invited along.
Money will be raised for Bradford youth and community services through the events. The aim of National Smile Month is to improve the UK’s oral health. Organised by oral health charity, the Oral Health Foundation, the campaign hopes to raise awareness of important health issues, and make a positive difference to the oral health of millions.
