Pupils with an interest in music enjoyed the sounds of the blues at a specially-arranged session.
Some 120 children at Hollingwood Primary, Great Horton, were entertained by the Kyla Brox Trio on Friday. Kyla's father, legendary bluesman Victor Brox, came out of retirement for the event.
The visit was part of the Blues in Schools programme, which involves established acts visiting schools. As well as performing, the musicians told children about the history of blues music and instruments. Head teacher Rosilyn Owens said: "The children who went along to the session were those who had shown a sustained interest in music."
The Kyla Brox Trio ended the day by playing at the Bronte Blues Club, in Laycock, near Keighley.
