THE race timings for the 2018 Tour de Yorkshire men’s and women’s races have now been unveiled.

Millions of spectators are expected to line the route for the event, which runs between May 3 and 6. The women’s stages will start in the morning with the men’s following in the afternoon.

Timings have been calculated by anticipating the peloton’s average speed but may be subject to change depending on race conditions.

On stage two of the event, on May 4, the women are set to finish their race on the summit of the Cow and Calf at Ilkley at 12.32pm, with the men passing through Otley and Ilkley at 5.37pm and 5.51pm respectively before reaching the same finish point at 5.57pm.

For the men’s stage four, on May 6, riders will head up the cobbled main street in Haworth at 12.56pm before dropping into Goose Eye at 1.07pm. The route then passes through Skipton at 1.21pm before reaching Otley at 4.27pm, climbing Otley Chevin at 4.33pm.
