Primary school children in Shipley and Frizinghall have been brightening up Lister Park in Bradford as their homemade duck huts were installed.

The huts were made during a workshop in Lister Park and then taken back to school and decorated.

Phil Barker, assistant director for sport and leisure, said: “We hope that the children have had a great time making and decorating the duck huts and I’m sure that the ducks will appreciate the opportunity to shelter from the worst of the winter weather.

“The huts will make a wonderfully colourful addition to the park.”
