A motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital after his bike was in a collision with a car in Yeadon.
Emergency services were first called to Harrogate Road, near the junction with Otley Old Road, at 6.09am today following reports of a collision between a blue Renault Clio and a motorbike.
Police said the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, had to be taken to Leeds General Infirmary with injuries which were not believed to be life-threatening.
Watch commander Martin Bleasdale, of Rawdon fire station, said crews were called to the scene at 6.53am.
The accident caused congestion in the area as police closed the road while investigations were carried out.
