Drivers fined for using lanes illegally

Police in Bradford fined 13 drivers after catching them using a high-occupancy vehicle and bus lane illegally.
Officers from Tong, Wyke and Holme Wood Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out an operation in Wakefield Road, Dudley Hill, after complaints from residents about people abusing the lane.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “As a result of community concerns and a number of near- miss collisions, officers carried out enforcement. Thirteen drivers were found to be using the lane in contravention of the traffic order.”
