Detectives have issued these CCTV images of suspects they are seeking in connection with a brutal robbery at a house near Keighley.

The hooded robbers woke the family at their large house in Bronte Villas, Cross Roads, in the early hours, bound the hands and ankles of the 53-year-old home owner and his adult sons and ransacked the house.

They made off with a “substantial” amount of money and valuables.

Detectives said the family had suffered a “terrifying ordeal”.

The raiders broke in through the conservatory. They dumped some of the stolen property in Haworth Road, Harecroft, near Cullingworth.

Detective Inspector Richard Partis said: “Although the images captured on the CCTV are not of sufficient quality to clearly identify the individuals, they may well jog someone’s memory.

“Despite this being in the early hours of the morning, there may well have been passers-by who remember seeing three men dressed in dark clothing.

“Just recalling even the smallest piece of information could trigger further investigation and potentially lead to an arrest. This was clearly an extremely upsetting and scary experience for the occupants of the property and it is important that we quickly trace those responsible.”

Anyone with information about the incident on February 29 is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111.

The victims were badly shocked but otherwise uninjured.
