Students at a Bradford secondary school felt the heat of the boardroom when a runner-up in the hit television show The Apprentice paid a visit.

Pupils at Carlton Bolling College took part in an enterprise challenge when entrepreneur Adam Corbally visited the school.

Students from years eight through to 13 formed teams, who had to come up with a product or something to sell on the market, before presenting their idea to a board room panel in a Dragon’s Den-style scenario.

Liz a, vocational and enterprise teacher, said: “They have learned leadership skills, they have learned teamwork skills, commercial and business and enterprise skills. And they have got advice from a real business entrepreneur.”

The winning team was Food Infusion, a team made up of six students from six different year groups.
