Teenager hurt in collision with car near Thornton Grammar School

A 13-year-old has been involved in a collision with a car near Thornton Grammar School.
The accident happened just before 8am today in Leaventhorpe Lane.
The injured teenager was breathing and conscious.
Police were at the scene to control commuter traffic until the road was cleared.
