City Park will be transformed into a Garden of Light from dusk tonight until Sunday, October 14.

It will feature over 23 light sculptures which are pictured in this artist’s impression, some of which will be more than 11 metres tall.

Giant clumps of red-tipped, luminous green grass will wave in the wind. Huge, wild dandelions will burst into life while crimson trees will drip with dew.

Visitors to City Park will see vertical shards of pure light rain down from enormous white fronds and gigantic illuminated lilies bloom into bouquets.

Bradford Council with the help of French master light artists, TILT, has transformed the area using LEDs, fibre optic cable, tungsten and fluorescent lights with new and recycled materials.
