Porsche driver injured as car wrecked

A Porsche crashed into a roundabout in Keighley today at 5am.

Firefighters were called to the incident near Aireworth Road, only to find the car lodged under an ash tree. It had cut in half on impact before stopping in the middle of the roundabout.

The car was empty but it is understood the driver was found staggering around nearby by police with a cut to his head.

Firefighters searched the area but did not discover anyone else.
