EVENT: Mark Ray completes a bike ride at Ravat and Ray Dental care in Manningham with Andy Wilshaw and colleagues
One of the principal dentists at a Bradford practice has completed a charity bike ride to raise money for a UK-based dental charity Bridge2Aid.
The charity helps to provide training for dental officers in East Africa.
The charity’s aim is to deliver treatment in a sustainable way by sending dental volunteers out to areas where emergency dental care can be hard to come by.
Mark Ray, of Ravat and Ray Dental Care. in Manningham, Bradford, cycled 207km around the company's nine practices across Lancashire and Yorkshire on
Thursday, September 20.
The Bradford-based branch also gave £500 to the charity Compass Bridge, which delivers alternative education to disadvantaged young people from seven to 25-years-old.
