Two vehicles collide near The Flappit

A two-car crash shut off the A629 junction at The Flappit pub near Denholme tonight.

Paramedics and police were called to the scene after it happenend at about 5.30pm.

At least one person is believed to have been injured.

The incident involved a white Audi and a blue Isuzu and one of the vehicles was reported to have tipped over onto its side.

By 9pm the road was still closed to traffic.
