New houses are approved in Wyke

Four large houses will be built in the Wyke area of Bradford.

Planning permission has been granted for the four to five-bedroom homes on land off Westfield Lane.

The application, by Zach Cribb, of Yorkshire Homes Limited, has been given the go-ahead by planners.

In granting permission, a planning officer said: “The principle of residential development at this site is considered acceptable given the modest scale of the site and relatively sustainable location. “No significant implications are foreseen in terms of highway safety, visual and residential amenity.”
