A confiscation hearing to assess the criminal assets of two respected members of the Bradford community, who were given jail sentences over a £200,000 heroin importation conspiracy, has been adjourned.
Bilal Suleman, 21, of Ellis Street, Marshfields, Bradford, was jailed for four years and eight months, and Zaber Khan, 36, of Bolton Road, Bolton, Bradford, received a prison sentence of two years and eight months, in August last year after pleading guilty to conspiracy to import class A drugs.
An application, under the Proceeds of Crime Act, was made to Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
After a directions hearing before Judge Ibbotson, the case was adjourned until March 18 next year.
