Murder squad detectives are hoping for new clues to the death of Bradford grandfather Clement Desmier after appeal posters were delivered to thousands of homes.

Mr Desmier, 68, was brutally killed at his home in Rowlestone Rise, Ravenscliffe , which was ransacked. His body was discovered on August 23.

Around 10,000 posters, bearing his picture and asking for information, were distributed in the area last week.

Detectives are investigating a theory his killer knew he had a sideline in selling cigarettes. Anyone with information should contact Homicide and Major Enquiry Team on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
