Man robbed at gunpoint at his Bradford home

Police are hunting raiders who robbed a man at gunpoint at his Bradford home.

The incident took place in Brafferton Arbor, Buttershaw , shortly before 1am today when the robber, armed with what appeared to be a handgun, forced his way into the property.

He threatened the housholder and demanded cash, before being joined by an accomplice. The pair escaped with a laptop computer and a mobile phone.

The armed suspect, who is described as Asian, ran off towards Bellerby Brow and the second suspect ran off towards Reevy Road West.

No-one was injured during the incident and inquiries are ongoing, said a police spokesman.
