Teenagers assault police support officer in Bradford city centre

Two teenagers have received police cautions after assaulting a police community support officer in Bradford city centre yesterday.

It is believed the 18-year-olds assaulted the officer after he told them to stop playing football in Centenary Square at about 4.30pm.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said the PCSO suffered minor injuries.

He added: “Two 18-year-olds were arrested yesterday in connected with an assault in Centenary Square at 4.26pm.

“Both men were cautioned.”
