Not just sit back and do nothing until more clubs go to the wire. If it's happening in SL, what's happening in the lower divisions. They have to up their game at Red Hall.

The RFL have behaved disgracefully during this saga. Information has been rationed and fed by drip. They have dillied and dallied and progress has been slower than a snails funeral. They could have assessed the street cred of the investers within a few hours but no they take their time and drag it out. They should have instructed Guilfoyle that any bid must be accompanied by a business plan, investers etc. As it turned out they threw the ABC one back due to its conditions and the lack of a business plan. They then go to make the same blunder with Omar's bid and ask for a business plan plus investers etc. These could and should have been been included with the original bid thus avoiding a fortnight's delay. While the RFL have been prevaricating the Club has been hemorrhaging, losing players and goodwill from suppliers. Who would want to sign for us in the light of the current debacle? Will there be any players to sign?

It strikes me the RFL seem determined to drag this out for as long as they can. The RFL applying due dilligence? Surely a contradictory statement. Where was due dilligence when that crazy Stobart deal was agreed? Has anyone seen a Stobart truck with Superleague on it? The worrying thing is that the twits who agreed the Stobart deal are probably deciding the Bulls' future.

Now that the board of the RFL have been satisfied that the OK bulls have jumped through sufficient hoops to allow the new company to be ratified as the the new owners of the Bulls. If the RFL are happy that their due diligance exercise has concluded that Mr Khan is a fit and proper person with the necessary financial support to own the club. They should surely now speed up the decision regarding the status of the new club. What more do they now require to make a decision. The majority of the other Super League teams, with one noticeable exception, can see the value of a properly structured Bradford Bulls to the competition. We the fans have proved that in terms of support both of the team on the pitch and off the field we are a Super League club. We the fans are not responsible for the previous boards financial mismanagement of this great club. We make a major contribution to other Super League clubs income and game day experience with our away support. Just ask anyone who was at the Giants game if we made a contribution to the atmosphere!!
The RFL should realise that their snails pace approach to this issue does little to enhance their reputation as the sports governing body. This constant drip feeding of information such as meetings to be called to discuss if a meeting needs to be called etc is straight from the " Yes Minister" guide to good governance. People's careers and livelihoods are at stake here so for goodness sake get on with it

The RFL kept the Buls afloat by loaing them money & then buying the lease. They also paid 2 months wages to prevent the club being liquidated. The mess at the Bulls is entirely down to Caisley & Co. His pal Guilfoyle made a fat fee out of it too. The ratificaton process has cost the Bulls absolutely nothing. The players were given permission to speak to other clubs whilst in administration. Any supplier goodwill disappeared as soon as their outstanding bills were never going to be paid. If it wasn't for the RFL owning the lease, that would have been sold as an asset when in administration, then where would the club be? You need to pull your head out of the sand.

Good luck to Halifax and if there is any justice Bulls will be relegated.The RFL may have millions of faults but over the last few months they are blameless over the fiasco at Odsal.The only people to blame are Bulls who mismanaged their finances.I just hope the RFL show bravery and spine and relegate the Bulls and then reinstate relegation and promotion from next season.The SPL did it with Rangers and the RFL must follow suit.Bulls must be punished and a 6 point points deduction is no deterrent to any future clubs who get in a financial mess.Halifax have been patient for years and deserve their chance.

I'm not quite in the " I know more than you" school but as a Bulls fan I do think the club are worthy of retaining their S/L status and expect the RFL to confirm that soon. However I dont point fingers at the RFL as I think the Bulls were fortunate to be kept afloat by this body and deserve no favours. I wonder what some of you on here would have said if it had been Leeds in the exact same position It's obvious your views would be the exact opposite of what they are now so stop moaning and be grateful we have a club.

So if the old Bulls is not going to be liquidated what is going to happen to the shell of the company that is at there with all the debts but no assets?

It can not just sit there as it is no longer trading, therefore it must be closed down. To close it down with current debts it has to be liquidated.

FAKE, are you concerned about loosing your free council tax. By the number of times in the day you post on here. I can only think you are one of the statistics, they keep telling us is going down. I have every sympathy for those who have lost their jobs and are having to 'sign on'. But very little for those who have never worked, you said that you have never worked in your life, that was under one of previous names.

Back, to rugby, we should know by Friday how they are going to make the decision. But I'm betting we won't have an answer until after the Grand Final. The longer it takes, the more it looks like we'll be in the SL.

It is true the RFL loaned the previous Bullsadministration money but they have also loaned many other clubs money so nothing untoward there. The other funds were merely SKY payments in advance which the club were entitled to.
IMO the RFL have acted in a very amateurish way. They have maintained the Bulls survival until the end of the regular season whilst making it virtually impossible for them to qualify for the post-season play-offs. How ironic that Wakefield, another club resurrected from administration and almost thrown out of SL, should make the play-offs at our expense. What have Bradford done to deserve such treatment? Clearly, the RFL have found due diligence late when it was absent at the time that licences were issued. It is to be hoped they will treat all other clubs the same way - we are watching.
The continuing delay in confirming the Bulls presence in SL 2013 can only be seen as a further punishment to the club which, in fact, means the new owners and the long suffering fans. Where is the fairness in that? I now have no faith in the current RFL board and their ability to steer the world greatest game through some tricky and murky waters. But, I do hope that in my life time I can laugh in their faces as Bradford Bulls rise from the ashes, in the face of adversity and discrimination, to again rule the world of rugby league. Keep the faith.

I think unless the RL get their thinking caps on SL will become less competive. The last few seasons there seemed to be a leveling out in the table, yes the same teams ended up with the trophies but lower teams have been able to cause surprises and the difference between the top of the table and bottom teams in regards to points, has decreased. If this is due to the salary cap it`s worked, but teams without a sugar daddy have got into financial difficulties. So unless you have a benefactor your team is going to have to make cuts, which basically means not spending as much on players wages which leads it all back to the bad old days where money talks and those with the most money win the most, which defeats the idea of a salary cap.

Solid statement there Capabull. My thoughts, would to lower the cap, some will point out it's only a guide, this would reduce the input of overseas players. Although a knock on effect could be NRL moving in with big bucks. Which the RFL(ha,ha) would have to deal with. Through some sort of legislation as regards age, restrictions on signings. If RU got involved in " poaching " our players, some similar deal could be worked out.

You do NOT need to liquidate a company for its creditors to be able to "close the books on all the monies they have lost". Dr. Bad Debts Cr. Debtors Dr. VAT Bad Debt Relief will do it iin under a minute.

Correct, if you ring the club and ask Simon Kenny about the lease he was handed at 11.15am today! all i was advising is there are other parties wanting the facilities (different game) and OK Bulls need to get a proposal together asap, couldnt really give a **** about the bulls, but i do know that certain coaching staff have put a great deal of input and work into establishing the facility to lose it, just ask Medders and Stu Burrows! now reconsider your response, it is a commercial world!
Alternativly make an appointment to come to site and have a look round the ground floor and see what is available!-your call.
