Murder squad detectives investigate 'suspicious' death

Murder squad detectives are investigating the death of a man who was found at a house in Brighouse .

Police say they are treating the death as suspicious following the discovery of the body today.

Detectives from the Homicide and Murder Enquiry Team were tonight carrying out investigations and waiting for the results of a post-mortem examination.

Officers received reports at 9.30am that a man had died at a house in South Street, Brighouse.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Upon attending the scene officers found the body of a man in his 30s.

“Detectives are now trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the death, which is being treated as suspicious.”
